Tulpehocken High School Musical 2010: “South Pacific”
Bravo to the Cast and Crew of “South Pacific!”
The stage is now dark, the applause has faded, but the memories will last a long time-the following photos will help make “Tulpehocken ASD’s presentation of “South Pacific” last forever. Take a look! Over the course of the next few days, more and more galleries will be posted. Check back, spread the word to cast and family! If you have questions, drop me a line…I’ll be happy to help!
The following photo gallery links will be listed in order of sequence of the musical. If you are filling out an order, please fill in the entire image number (ex. “SPA1S2_0024). The number identifies the file according to which act, scene, and possibly song. Also, under the description space on the order form, please briefly describe the image, or what’s happening-this helps ensure few mistakes in filling the order.
The collection of images in each gallery may include multiple camera angles taken over the course of the performance run-take your time looking…the images will be in the proper scene, but may be out of sequence. Apologies for the confused order-it seemed more important to get the images posted than be meticulous with the images.
Also, each gallery – (which will open as a separate window on your web browser) consists of pages of small preview “thumbnails,” which may be clicked to show a larger view. You may use the directional arrows on the lower corners to navigate back and forth to the large views, or click on the small “house” icon at the top of a large view to go back to the gallery view. The image frame number will appear below the larger preview.
Enjoy looking and have fun!* There is an order form link (PDF) at the end (bottom) of the gallery links list.
*Please be aware that all images are Copyrighted 2010 Glenn Riegel Photography. The following galleries of images are intended for viewing and ordering. Copying, removal or cropping of the copyright notice or unauthorized use is illegal.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the South Pacific…
“South Pacific” Act I:
Scene 1- The Terrace of Emile de Becue’s Plantation Home
In hindsight I could have pulled this scene apart by musical number.
Scene 2- Another part of the Island (Bloody Mary)
“Bloody Mary’s chewing betel nuts…” Actually betel leaves-but you can research that online pretty easily-maybe the red color was where she got her name?
Scene 3- The Edge of a Palm Grove near the Beach
“There is Nothin’ like a Dame”
Great bass Lt. Quale! Uhhh, this is a big number and lots of camera angles-big gallery-grab a cup of coffee or something!
“Bali Ha’i”
Lots of angles again-and Stew Pot and the Professor are a hoot!
Scene 4- The Company Street
Kilroy sure got around!
Scene 5 – Inside the Island Commander’s Office
Magic walls and a commander that is a master of disguise?
Scene 6- The Company Street
Letters…wow, no texting or even email? They did have censors though…
Scene 7-The Beach
“I’m Gonna Wash that Man Right Outa My Hair”
Movie trivia question: Where was Billis’s famed shower in the movie “South Pacific?”
Reprise: “Some Enchanted Evening” and “A Wonderful Guy”
Scene 9- Inside the Island Commander’s Office
Scene 10-Another Part of the Island
Scene 11- Inside a Native Hut on Bali Ha’i (Younger than Springtime)
Scene 12- Near the Beach on Bali Ha’i
Scene 13- Emile’s Terrace Finale Act 1
Ooops-missed a few in Act 1-so this next set is a combination of some of the previous scenes-mostly the dance action.
The “Lost” Files
Intermission (take all the time that you want)
Entr’ Act
Act II:
Scene 1- A Performance of “The Thanksgiving Follies”
Scene 2- Backstage at “The Thanksgiving Follies” (Happy Talk)
Scene 3- The Performance Resumes (Honey Bun)
Scene 4- Backstage at the Follies (“You’ve Got to be Carefully Taught” and ” This Nearly was Mine”)
Scene 5 through 8 The Radio Shack
Scene 9 & 10-The Company Street & The Beach
For some reason some of the previews on this set are improperly sized-that is not how the image actually looks and I’ll try to rerun the gallery at a later time to correct for it.
Scene 11-The Company Street and Shipping Out
Scene 12 and Final Curtain
South Pacific Cast Receiving Line Saturday Night and other bits and pieces
“South Pacific” Lobby Posters, Group Shots, and Facebook Posters
Last, but possibly the post that you have been waiting for, the posters and group photos. The Facebook montages will not have the super-large logo across them. The Facebook format is more of a square, therefore, keep that in mind when ordering prints.
Also, if you have another idea for a poster or personalized montage, drop me a line. I’d love to look for ways to make the images as unique for the individual as possible.
…if you get the picture!

Tulpehocken High School Musical 2009: “Guys & Dolls”

In the process of creating the new web design, all galleries need to be reconfigured and relinked. This post is acting as a place-holder for the THS Musical Galleries, which will reappear-eventually.
